Gabrielle Moran

Gabrielle Moran is the Chief of Staff for the Center for Maritime Strategy where she leads the Center’s programming and strategic development. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations Young Professionals Program.

Her research interests include transatlantic diplomacy, civil-military relations, and military mobility. Her work has appeared in the Jerusalem Strategic Tribune and Europe’s Edge. In addition, she contributed to the Center for European Policy Analysis report, Moving Mountains for Europe’s Defense.

Prior to joining the Center, Ms. Moran worked on the Transatlantic Defense and Security Program at the Center for European Policy Analysis and at H+H Strategies. Previously, she interned with the United States Senate, German American Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Department of State, and the British Defence Staff in the United States.

She holds a Bachelor of the Arts from American University’s School of International Service with a concentration in U.S. Foreign Policy Studies. Ms. Moran speaks Italian and French.
