Connor Ronka

Nimitz Intern

Connor Ronka is a master’s student at the University of St Andrews and recently completed his courses for the school’s one-year Strategic Studies program. As a part of his degree, he wrote his dissertation on the subject of riverine warfare in the Western theater of the American Civil War.

Before coming to the Center for Maritime Strategy, he worked as an intern for the Navigators in international security and open-source intelligence. Connor earned a joint bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Modern History from the University of St Andrews, graduating with First Class honors.
