Abigail Miller
Ethics and Service Fellow
Abigail Miller is a rising expert in Eastern European and Russian geopolitics, transatlantic security, and political-military relations. She is currently a graduate student in the Security Studies Program at Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, where she concentrates on international security. Ms. Miller is presently a Europe and Eurasia columnist for the Georgetown Security Studies Review, the oldest student-run security studies journal in the United States. She writes on geopolitics, hybrid/grey zone warfare, international institutions, and political-military relations.
Ms. Miller was previously on the Central and Eastern Europe Team at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, where she supported the Western Balkans portfolio and contributed to programming on anti-corruption, political party integrity, transparency in politics, and citizen engagement in the political process.
Ms. Miller holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with minors in Law and Public Policy from Indiana University Bloomington. She has also received a Graduate Certificate in Advanced International Affairs with a concentration on Central and Eastern Europe from The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University. She speaks French and beginner Polish.
Ms. Miller will pursue service in the Navy through Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island upon completion of her graduate degree.
