Kenneth Baek

Kenneth Baek is an Ethics and Service Fellow at the Center for Maritime Strategy and a rising
senior at Tufts University majoring in Political Science, with proficiency in Korean. He is also a
Midshipman in the Boston Consortium Naval ROTC Program and is pursuing a commission as a
United States Naval Officer.

His primary research interests include military ethics, international diplomacy, and geopolitics in
the East and Southeast Asia. His research seeks to better understand the relationship between
international affairs and military leadership, particularly how these issues influence the sailors
and Marines he will have the honor to serve alongside and lead.

Previously, Kenneth completed the Project Global Officer Program for ROTC students in South
Korea, sponsored by the Defense Language and National Security Education Office.
