Kathryn Selinger

Chief of Staff

Kathryn Selinger is the Chief of Staff at the Center for Maritime Strategy where she works to strengthen American national security through its sea services via research, advocacy and education on the relationship between maritime power and national security policy.
Previously, Kathryn was a Professional Programs Associate at the Alexander Hamilton Society, coordinating various programs for alumni of campus and professional programming. Prior to working at AHS, Kathryn served in the offices of Congressman Kevin Hern of Oklahoma and Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska and was a research assistant to Lawrence Haas as he authored The Kennedys in the World: How Jack, Bobby, and Ted Remade America’s Empire.
Kathryn holds a BA from American University in international studies with a focus in national security and a Master Practitioner in Leadership from Georgetown University. Kathryn is an alumna of the Fellowship on Military History and Strategy with The Public Interest Fellowship and the Woodhouse Public Policy Fellowship through The Fund for American Studies.
