In-person event
The Congressional Maritime Intensive was a three-day program run by the Center for Maritime Strategy in Arlington, Virginia. The program educated congressional staffers about the history and application of U.S. maritime strategy and the implications of strategy on our nation’s defense posture, budget, and security.
Participants learned from and interacted with distinguished senior leaders in the national security and military communities. The curriculum included readings on naval history, strategic culture, decision-making and operations. It featured a mix of seminars, simulations and presentations.
